On a path that twists around
The finish lies one step away
End on end up through the down
Beyond a gulf too deep to say

Across the stars, beneath the sea
The path winds on to endless shores
Burning sun and shading tree
Stop to rest; set off once more

On and on through endless cold
Stop and sleep; reborn anew
Across the void between the worlds
And off again, in dawn's red hue
